DESCRIPTIVE ESSAY

Simply saying, inner turmoil is the state of mind we put ourselves in when we start to believe that things in our lives are just not working out the way we would like for them to. If I am suffering with an inner turmoil, definitely this will affect my state of mind in which I assumed that people leaves me the feeling of being discouraged, fearful, unworthy or, at worst, unable to keep on going towards my self.

Basically, life on the path of Spirit is not meant to be like this.  That is why I can, in fact, overcome this state of mind with a little time, patience and discipline on my part.  To do so, I must first get to the root cause, an immense feeling of unworthiness.  In my part, what is important however, is that we truly start to believe that we are in fact worthy of all that our hearts desire.

I do believe that I can handle things up with God. If I am in this difficult state, I will further strengthen my faith, I know that God is with us in every situation, and He is with us right where we are! What we need to discover is how to respond appropriately to our current circumstances. Jesus has offered us a solution to responding to our difficult situations! In Matthew 11:28 He calls us to “Come unto me, and I will give you rest.” God is just waiting to give us that peace.  To open up our life to Him. To allow Him to change and challenge us, and transform our inner reactions to life’s situations. I truly desire His peace and ask God to fill me with His peace and to show how I can change and surpass this problem.

I also believe in the power of relationships! I should learn to acknowledge that being alone does not always mean being lonely.  That's right.  We can all be extremely content and happy on our own.  In fact, at times we need to be on our own for no other reason than our own sanity.  We are, after all, very much complete just as we are.  True, it is a wonderful thing to love another human being with total heart and soul, but in actuality it is we who make our own spiritual happiness.
